With the return of football following the ease of lockdown restrictions, we are delighted that FDC Norwich scholar Alexandra Denes has been invited back to continue her trial season for Norwich City Women’s U19 squad.
Having been invited to join prior to the last lockdown, Alexandra has patiently waited for her opportunity to restart training and play with the rest of the squad, and support her player development.
Alexandra’s dedication and willingness to learn really shines through in her personality and she fully deserves this trial opportunity. Alexandra is always striving to improve in every training session and shows the same attitude and commitment within her education which has seen her crowned student of the term.
Andy Reynolds – Assistant Director – Football Industry College
Having completed her GCSE’s, Alexandra joined our Norwich post 16 football education programme in 2019 without a regular team and through our coaching team was able to link up with Wymondham Women’s U18 outside of the college.
Currently completing the first year of her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Sport & Exercise Science, Alexandra was also crowned our Norwich student of the term winner for April for her fantastic performance and focus during lockdown learning.
Check out Alexandra’s student of the term interview below where she takes on the interview challenge and talks about receiving the award, life as a Football Industry College scholar and her future career ambitions once she graduates with her Level 3 Extended Diploma qualification.
