Goal of the Term – December 2021- The Contenders

The contenders for Goal of the Term are in. From great team efforts, opportunist finishes, senior first team goals and majestic set pieces, our national scholars have delivered some great moments during the past term. Watch our top nine contenders battling it out for our ‘Goal of the Term’ title, where the winner will be decided by our coaching team in early in 2022!

GOAL 1 – TISHAUN BROWN – SHEFFIELD SCHOLARS

Showcasing electric pace and control from a pin point through ball with a powerful, cool finish past the keeper into the top corner.

GOAL 2 – KIAN LEECH – LOWESTOFT SCHOLARS

An opportunist finish from Kian racing onto a long ball beating the keeper and lobbing into the roof of the net from twenty five yards.

GOAL 3 – BRENDAN DAWSON – SHEFFIELD SCHOLARS

A defence splitting pass from midfield and a calmly placed finish into the bottom left hand corner.

GOAL 4 – OWEN LANE – NORWICH SCHOLARS

Delivering a peach of a free kick with power and placement past the keeper into the top corner.

GOAL 5 – HARRY KADZIOLA – SHEFFIELD SCHOLARS

Great team goal from end to end with a cool as you like finish from.

GOAL 6 – JOSH HARVEY – LOWESTOFT TOWN 1ST TEAM

Sublime control, quick thinking and composed finish by Josh, scoring for the Lowestoft Town F.C first team at just 16 years of age

GOAL 7 – REECE BINGHAM – SHEFFIELD SCHOLARS

Another strong team goal playing in Reece who finishes well with the outside of the boot.

GOAL 8 – ADAM SHERWOOD – LOWESTOFT SCHOLARS

A clinical, powerful finish from a tight angle having picked up the loose ball from a corner.

GOAL 9 – BRENDAN DAWSON – SHEFFIELD SCHOLARS

Great team goal from end-to-end featuring a one-two-one-two, finished by rounding the keeper and placing in the back of the net.
